Spring Retreat - More Celtic Shamanic Goodness Part One

Once again, I disappeared into the forest to deepen my understanding of shamanic journeying and, this time, Celtic tree lore. As at the last retreat, we didn't get to the 'trees'; we focused on learning about the Ogham alphabet.

We spent a significant period carving and creating our own ogham alphabet wands. I am now the proud owner of a hazel, willow and elder wand with ogham script burnt into them. What they mean is only known to me.

Sadly, the retreat's weather was typically British, but that strangely didn't stop the weekend's enjoyment. I recall staring into the fire and having some pretty intense journeys, which was a relief because I thought my spirit guides had begun to get bored of me. Apparently, this is impossible. Thank goodness!!
